Celebrating the Class of 2024 – Karina & Andres

High school graduation is such a special time—it’s a celebration of hard work, transformation, and all the memories made along the way. One of the greatest joys of being a photographer is getting to witness these moments up close and preserve them through beautiful, lasting images. I had the opportunity to photograph two wonderful Catalina Foothills High School seniors, Karina and Andres, whose sessions were full of quiet confidence, warm energy, and genuine connection.

Karina is a natural in front of the camera—radiant, sweet, and full of life. While I didn’t know her before our session, she made an instant impression with her warm smile and graceful confidence. It’s clear she’s someone who stays active and engaged, and she brought a great sense of ease and personality to each shot. Her aunt helped bring this session to life, and I’m so thankful for the chance to photograph yet another member of such a kind, beautiful family.

Andres, also a 2024 senior from Catalina Foothills, is a young man of quiet strength and kindness. Though he’s more reserved, he has a calm, thoughtful presence that shines through in his portraits. He shares a close bond with his younger brother, which was heartwarming to see. His parents, Jose and Michelle, are wonderful people, and I’ve had the pleasure of photographing their family for quite some time now. Michelle has become more than just a client—she’s a true friend, and it’s always an honor to capture milestones for their family.

It’s always meaningful to photograph seniors at this exciting stage in life, and even more special when there’s a family connection or shared journey involved. Having Karina and Andres together for part of their session added an extra layer of fun and familiarity. They encouraged one another and brought out the best in each other during the shoot—proof that even quiet personalities can create a session full of light and laughter.
